Terms of Service

1. What Matchmint does

Matchmint connects local businesses — restaurants, cafes, salons, gyms, boutiques and similar — with nearby content creators. Businesses offer a meal, service or experience; creators visit, create content and post it to platforms such as Instagram and YouTube.

Creators are independent. They are not our employees or agents, and we do not control the opinions they express. We do not guarantee any particular number of views, followers, customers or sales from a creator visit.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• If you sign up for a business, you confirm you are authorised to act for that business and to agree to these terms on its behalf.
• Keep your details accurate and your login credentials private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• We may refuse or close an account that gives false information or breaks these terms.

3. Plans, pricing and payment

• Starter is a one-time, pay-per-visit booking.
• Pro is a monthly subscription. When you subscribe, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method every month. Each subscription covers up to 12 monthly charges; after that, you'll be asked to subscribe again.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Current prices are on our pricing page, and any applicable taxes are shown before you pay.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay will retry it automatically. If the retries also fail, your plan is paused until you subscribe again.
• We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll tell you before a change affects a subscription you already have.

4. Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation, refund eligibility and timelines are covered in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. Business responsibilities

• Honour the offer you describe in your profile when a matched creator visits.
• Provide a safe, respectful environment for creators.
• Do not ask creators to post false claims, fake reviews or misleading content.
• Comply with all laws that apply to your business, including food safety and consumer protection rules.

6. Creator responsibilities

• Attend visits you accept, or cancel with reasonable notice.
• Create honest content that reflects your real experience.
• Clearly disclose that a post is a collaboration or partnership, as required by the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) guidelines for influencers.
• Follow the rules of the platforms you post on.

7. Content

Creators keep ownership of the content they create. By taking part in a Matchmint visit, a creator allows the featured business and Matchmint to share or repost that content on their own channels, with credit to the creator, without further payment.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use Matchmint for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
• harass, threaten or discriminate against any business, creator or member of our team;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or interfere with how the service runs;
• arrange visits found through Matchmint off-platform to avoid paying for your plan.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Matchmint is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or business, or for the acts of businesses or creators you meet through the service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Matchmint at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk. If we close a paid account for reasons other than a breach of these terms, we'll refund any unused part of your plan.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we'll notify you by email or WhatsApp before it takes effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in [City] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
